The Atlanta Solidarity Network (ASOL) kicked off their first fight on Friday when they delivered a demand letter to the manager of key lime pie, a boutique salon which has been witholding wages from its workers. Employee Erika confronted her boss and demanded her pay within two days, and threatened further escalation if the demands were not met.
ASOL is a direct action group which organizes people all over Atlanta to stand up for each other when they are mistreated by landlords or bosses. They use an escalating series of tactics to pressure the target, including leafletting, phone blasts, and pickets. ASOL encourages anyone who wants support in a dispute to contact them.
